About the position

The Software Engineering Manager at Converse will lead a team of software engineers focused on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud platforms. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable solutions that enhance customer experiences across various channels. The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and ensure effective integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of Salesforce solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop solutions
• Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and third-party services
• Foster a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement within the team
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our systems and processes

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or a combination of relevant education, training and experience
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Salesforce and technical leadership
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Service Cloud, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns and testing methodologies
• Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
