Kforce has a client seeking a Software Engineering Manager in Chandler, AZ. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of software that has immediate, tangible results visible in the operation of capital equipment hardware, including robotics, gas valves, temperature controllers, and other hardware. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading software development to build competitive semiconductor capital equipment products, driving innovation and quality in capital equipment software, and building a strong and growing team of software developers. You will define software development plans and be responsible for generating software roadmaps, balancing the software project portfolio for maximum benefit to the company, including cost of ownership reductions and performance improvements. Ensuring high-quality software development with a first-time-right approach is crucial, and you will collaborate closely with the software quality team. Additionally, you will be responsible for strengthening the team in terms of both resource capacity and capability, collaborating with other Software Engineering leaders globally to establish a cohesive software strategy, and measuring and maintaining internal customer satisfaction.
