About the position

The position is fully remote, but candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to specific states including Nebraska, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Washington, Minnesota, Florida, or Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for building empowered teams that are passionate and engaged in driving business outcomes. Acting as a servant leader, you will ensure that engineers have the insights, tools, and support necessary to execute their tasks effectively. As a fully remote department, it is crucial to maintain team engagement and presence while working. You will also be responsible for visualizing team dynamics and ensuring organizational transparency. Additionally, you will own LTR metrics and ensure that engineers understand the expectations and the rationale behind them. To succeed in this position, you should have over 10 years of experience in an engineering or product role, with a proven track record of building solutions from the ground up that support major business functions. A deep understanding of engineering, product, and design functions is essential, along with negotiation skills for managing external vendors. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to inspire colleagues are critical, as is a solid grasp of Agile and Lean principles and measures.
