Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, fostering career growth and development.
• Drive the development of software solutions that lead to efficient and scalable marketing operations.
• Establish strong lines of communication with a large and committed set of stakeholders, including product management, marketing operations, design, and engineering.
• Oversee the evolution of the architecture and integration with systems across DraftKings.
• Drive technical discovery through collaboration with your engineers.
• Implement software alongside your team members when necessary.
• Participate in the recruiting and interviewing of candidates.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience working as a developer or lead in a full-stack environment building high scale, business-critical applications.
• Prior experience managing a team is required, preferably at a similar product-focused company.
• Strong experience building distributed systems in a cloud service (AWS, Azure, GCP) environment.
• Experience with modern Front End technologies such as React is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrable experience developing relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior professional experience with digital marketing technologies and platforms is a nice to have.
• Prior experience with integration platforms (Microsoft Power Platform, Dell Boomi, Workato, Mulesoft, Zapier, etc.) or other automation tools is a nice to have.
