Wells Fargo is seeking a collaborative Software Engineering Manager with a security mindset who would love to work in an agile team environment, someone who embraces and solves new technology challenges. As a Software Engineering Manager on this team, you will lead the engineering team to design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions in support of Data-In-Motion Encryption (DIME) efforts that align and comply with the Wells Fargo cyber security strategy and data strategy. The DIME team is a high criticality program that mandates the data protection of restricted data, and you will be responsible for developing and implementing a sustainable framework that identifies and protects this data. In this role, you will lead the engineering team, partnering with the Principal Engineer, and act as an advisor to develop requirements and strategies for the DIME initiative. You will lead complex initiatives with broad impact and act as a key participant in large-scale software planning and platform integration for TCOO. As the product delivery owner for the DIME Initiative, you will be responsible for setting engineering structure strategies for DIME. You will review and analyze complex software enhancement initiatives for our business partners, and evaluate operational or technical improvements that require an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Your role will involve making decisions in complex engineering situations that require an understanding of software package options, programming languages, and compliance requirements. You will strategically collaborate and consult with internal partners to resolve high-risk data engineering challenges. Additionally, you will manage, coach, and develop a team of individual contributor engineers and less experienced managers, ensuring they build high-quality capabilities with modern technology. You will also ensure adherence to Wells Fargo's platform architecture and non-functional requirements with each release, engage with architects and engineers to incorporate technical strategies, and collaborate with product managers to drive user satisfaction and influence technology requirements.
