About The Position
Spreedly is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead one of our product feature teams. In this role, you will contribute to setting team strategy and ensuring that engineering OKRs are consistently met. We value ownership and accountability while building the products that enable us to contribute to the ongoing and ever-changing development of an open payments platform. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, driving improvements in engineering standards, tooling, and processes to enhance team productivity and product quality. You will collaborate with product managers, internal stakeholders, and customers to deliver solutions that meet user needs and business objectives. It is essential to ensure that the team meets our commitments to ship quality software and to communicate clearly across the product team and company regarding key milestones or any challenges to our commitments. You will proactively share context with the team, helping them connect the dots of their work with broader company initiatives, and manage responsibilities to ensure the team effectively delivers a highly available service to customers. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in building a diverse team while promoting a collaborative and inclusive environment.
