About the position

The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Program) is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a talented team in Fort Worth, Texas. This position is integral to the development of advanced software for the ADP ISR portfolio, continuing a 75-year legacy of innovation in advanced aircraft development. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, system testing, flight testing, verification, qualification, and production of software products that meet customer needs. This role requires a strong focus on program execution, including managing cost, schedule, and technical performance, as well as fulfilling functional L-code responsibilities such as employee recruitment, labor planning, and performance assessments. In this leadership position, the Software Engineering Manager will utilize modern technical principles, theories, and concepts to guide the team in developing, integrating, and testing software products. The manager will also support all development change actions and ensure adherence to Engineering and Program Management Process Execution. Active participation in the reward systems through feedback mechanisms is also a key aspect of this role. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and will need to obtain a Secret clearance to start, as the position is located at a facility requiring special access.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of advanced software for the ADP ISR portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
