About the position

As a Software Engineering Manager at Quantum-Systems Inc, you will be pivotal in addressing challenges within the government UAS industry. This role involves leading a team to deliver innovative software solutions that enhance aerial intelligence and autonomous systems. You will be responsible for overseeing software architecture, integration, and testing, while promoting the company's core principles and vision for UAS and Airborne Artificial Intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as part of the Quantum-Systems management team.
• Lead a team to deliver project milestones in a high tempo work environment with minimal supervision.
• Implement high-level software architectures.
• Resolve complex problems during troubleshooting using industry best practices.
• Integrate unmanned system technologies such as edge computed data fusion, vision AI, teaming, and payload coordination.
• Lead technical software integration efforts.
• Decompose the scope of an assigned project, develop corresponding software architecture and software design.
• Develop and execute software integration and test plans.
• Lead subsystem and low-level technical reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 7 years of Software Engineer experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 4+ years of Software experience.
• U.S Citizenship/Background Check.
• 7+ years of experience in Linux design.
• Demonstrated experience in embedded C++ and C#.
