About the position

As a Software Engineering Manager at PNC, you will lead development projects and teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards while fostering an inclusive workplace culture. This role requires a blend of technical and people management skills, focusing on building a cohesive team and driving innovation within the technology group. You will be responsible for overseeing application programming and analysis projects, maximizing staff contributions, and ensuring that developed systems meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage development projects and application support functions.
• Oversee multiple application programming and analysis projects, including development, installation, and maintenance of application programs.
• Monitor and maintain adherence to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
• Maximize staff contribution through professional growth and development.
• Analyze applications to ensure that all systems developed meet business needs and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of industry-relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of prior management experience.
• Technical skills in Java, Oracle, and Mainframe.
