Apple is seeking a Software Engineering Program Manager with expertise in Computer Vision (CV), Machine Learning (ML), and algorithms to join the Video Computer Vision team, which has successfully delivered groundbreaking technologies such as Vision Pro and FaceID algorithms. In this role, you will be responsible for driving large, multi-functional efforts to build innovative technologies for Apple, working on cutting-edge advancements in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Generative AI. You will lead a dedicated engineering team through the software development cycle, from concept to delivery, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. As a Software Engineering Program Manager, you will create development schedules, identify critical paths, and maintain thorough execution of projects. Your role will require you to ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication, allowing for seamless collaboration across various teams. You will need to grasp complex technical topics and abstract key issues and risks into a useful form for executive management, ensuring that the overall program status is communicated optimally and consistently. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of shipping complex new technology and experience in building algorithms. You should thrive in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment and possess the ability to influence, lead, and mitigate risks effectively. Your experience should include leading complex, multi-functional software projects, with a strong background in engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Systems Engineering, Embedded Software, or Hardware Development. A BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, along with at least 10 years of relevant experience, is required for this position.
