About the position

The Engineering Program Manager at Navistar, Inc. is responsible for leading software engineering efforts within cross-functional teams to ensure that software systems meet program targets and timelines. This role focuses on implementing new designs and systems in vehicles to enhance customer satisfaction and vehicle performance, particularly in the context of electrification, autonomy, and connectivity. The position requires a commitment to quality and collaboration across various engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering effort through the various phases of assigned program(s)
• Act as liaison between engineering software and calibration development teams and the program team
• Plan engineering development activities to meet the program needs
• Ensure engineering activity meets program Cost, Quality and Delivery goals
• Report status of software activities and issues to engineering leadership
• Ensure product is fully validated and meets performance objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop vehicle-level solutions
• Monitor implementation and sources of change including CDMS/Metro, Hyperion, JIRA, PTDB, IVEST, Truck Perfect, Calibration, Polarian, vendor component software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 5 years of technical project/program management experience OR Master's degree with at least 3 years of technical project/program management experience OR at least 7 years of technical project/program management experience
• PMP certification
• Six Sigma Certification
