As a Software Engineering Section Lead/Manager, you will be an integral part of our Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems team. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the culture and processes within our software engineering team while ensuring that we meet the staffing and technical needs of our business. In this role, you will manage a team of 10 to 15 software engineers located in New Hampshire, providing them with technical mentoring, career guidance, and performance feedback. You will collaborate closely with other product area leads to set the technical direction for our products and drive software engineering initiatives across the organization. Your responsibilities will include conducting architecture and design reviews, leading strategic initiatives, and participating in bid and proposal development. You will also be involved in planning next-generation solutions that align with both your skills and career aspirations. As a leader, you will guide engineers in their career advancement and promote best practices in software development. This hybrid position allows for a flexible work environment, with a mix of onsite and remote work, tailored to project needs. The remote work percentage will be less than 50%, ensuring that you remain engaged with your team and projects.
