About the position
The position involves working on technical software development teams to solve complex problems through innovative solutions. Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance Spatial's 3D InterOp components.
- Work with team members and customers to define clear requirements.
- Find creative and innovative solutions to real-world commercial software problems.
- Ensure all project goals are met, including coding, testing, and documentation.
- Communicate with local and remote team members, stakeholders, and customers as needed.
- Develop test suites using shell and command line tools to ensure functional coverage.
- Debug C++ on Windows, Linux, and Mac platforms using platform-specific debuggers.
- Guarantee proper memory management, exception safety, and thread safety in C++ projects.
Requirements
- Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience programming with C++ for commercial software applications.
- Object-oriented design and software architecture skills.
- Ability to diagnose and fix system-level issues and problematic complex code logic.
- Experience working with very large codebases.
- Familiarity with source control, memory leak detection, performance analysis, and similar tools.
- Proficiency in command line tools and scripting languages such as grep, awk, sh, Perl, and/or Python.
- Experience in multithreaded and multiprocessing application development.
- Development experience on non-Windows platforms.
