The role involves leading customer interactions for Cisco's Silicon One products, focusing on product adoption, software development, and technical support. As a lead engineer, the individual will also mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality software solutions and customer experiences.

  • Lead customer interactions to facilitate Silicon One product adoption.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for customers.
  • Gather customer requirements and assist in software implementation to enhance quality and experience.
  • Develop innovative applications and customizations of Silicon One software.
  • Mentor and train a team of engineers on design and implementation issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python for programming and design.
  • Experience with algorithms and data structures.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
  • Strong analytical reasoning and debugging skills, with experience using tools like GDB and PDB.
  • Experience with cloud, data center, or edge networking products.
  • Familiarity with SAI, Sonic, or other Network Operating Systems.
  • Experience in writing and testing software for high-performing and scalable networking products.
