Responsibilities

• Develop software specifications for functions that support hardware integration and debugging activities.
• Create function and interface specifications to promote interoperability and modularity of hardware.
• Develop models using Magic Draw and SysML for low-level startup behaviors and hardware interfaces.
• Create simulations and animations to visualize behaviors and interactions between interfaces.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Experience in systems engineering and open systems architectures.
• Familiarity with HOST and/or VITA 65 and 64.11 standards.
• Modeling experience with UML and/or SysML in Magic Draw.
• Experience with Cameo simulation toolkit.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of current NAVAIR policy relating to software integration.
