About the position

The Software Integration Engineer will be responsible for integrating end-to-end systems to validate software and system deliveries, including third-party integrations. This role involves troubleshooting Android framework services and server-side applications using C++ and Java on Linux-based systems. The engineer will also define and execute performance test plans, drive the resolution of software issues, and propose improvements to enhance software processes and tools.

Responsibilities

• Integrate end-to-end systems to validate software, system, and third-party deliveries.
• Troubleshoot Android framework services and C++/Java on server-side Linux-based systems.
• Define and execute various system and software performance test plans.
• Drive resolution of software issues found during the software test and integration phase.
• Propose and deploy improvements on software processes, tools, and products to increase efficiency and performance.
• Develop internal tools or use industry tools to capture and analyze system performance metrics.
• Analyze root causes of complex hardware or network issues.

Requirements

• 5 to 9+ years of experience in related fields.
• Knowledge/experience in Linux, Networking, and Scripting.
• Proficiency in Java or C++.
• Familiarity with test principles, including functional testing, performance testing, stress testing, endurance testing, recovery testing, and ad hoc testing.
• Skilled in troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
• Knowledgeable in networking, TCP/IP, and VLAN.
