About the position

The Software Integrator position at Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) involves working on government projects and programs, focusing on the integration and support of software solutions for Marine Corps Intelligence Systems. The role requires a strong background in computer science, experience with various scripting languages, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities

• Establish and sustain software baselines for Marine Corps Intelligence Systems.
• Communicate task requirement information to clients in a clear and concise manner.
• Participate in meetings and working groups.
• Analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Support virtual environment setup using VMware ESXi.
• Work with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Scripting experience in at least two of the following: Powershell, NSIS, VBScript, JavaScript, Batch, T-SQL, HTML5.
• Proficient understanding of Computer Science fundamentals in design patterns, data structures, encryption algorithms, and well-known ports & protocols.
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
• Microsoft Windows 10 OS or Microsoft Windows Server OS engineering experience.
• Experience in RHEL OS engineering environments.
• Network interconnection, setup, and support experience using either Cisco IOS or Netgear OS.
• Experience in scanning, patching, and mitigating cybersecurity vulnerabilities using ACAS and SCAP.
• Ability to operate effectively in a team-oriented and collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
• Secret level Clearance required, TS/SCI preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with authorization security protocols such as DoD PKI, SSL, or OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with the ArcGIS Enterprise product suite and ArcGIS Client applications.
• Experience with Global Command and Control System Joint (GCCS-J).
• Experience with Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK).
• Engineering experience with Android OS.
• Experience with drafting technical manuals using the MIL-STD-38784.
• Virtual machine engineering experience using Hyper-V or VMware Workstation.
• Experience in analyzing network traffic using tools such as Wireshark.
• Containerization experience using Kubernetes, Docker, or other equivalent software.
