Leidos's Digital Modernization Group is seeking a Software Interface Developer to join their Interface team. This role involves the development and maintenance of Java and PL/SQL code associated with the Defense Civilian Human Resources Management System (DCHRMS), which manages HR data for Defense Civilian Personnel. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a curious mindset, capable of solving complex problems and collaborating effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including developers, testers, customers, team leads, and management. The DCHRMS program will initiate a Public Trust investigation for the selected candidate, emphasizing the importance of trust and security in this role. As a Software Interface Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and analyzing back-end applications, database interactions, and data conversion routines. You will perform code analysis to optimize performance, collect and analyze data, report results, and make recommendations based on your findings. The role requires self-direction in managing daily tasks while also working within a team structure. You will influence design and coding techniques for both individual and team use, collaborate with customers and senior management, and demonstrate delivered products during scrum demonstration events.
