About the position
The Technology Lead role involves interfacing with key stakeholders and applying technical proficiency throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. This includes requirements elicitation, UI architecture definition, and design. The position is crucial for creating high-level design artifacts and delivering high-quality UI deliverables for a module. The lead will also oversee validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty, all within a collaborative and diverse learning culture.
Responsibilities
- Interface with key stakeholders to gather requirements and define UI architecture.
- Create high-level design artifacts for software modules.
- Deliver high-quality UI deliverables for assigned modules.
- Lead validation for all types of testing activities.
- Support implementation, transition, and warranty activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Proficiency in Java backend and web services.
- Expertise in backend frameworks and database systems.
- In-depth understanding of web application architecture and design patterns.
- Solid grasp of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Nice-to-haves
- 5-8 years of proven experience as a Senior Backend Software Engineer or equivalent role.
