About the position

The Software/Power Application Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing solutions built on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of business processes to create efficient and effective applications, while also delivering full stack Line of Business software solutions. The developer will work closely with Power App Developers to leverage development programs and ensure compliance with cybersecurity directives.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Deliver full stack Line of Business software solutions.
  • Collaborate with Power App Developers to build, execute, and document a Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Prepare and maintain code repositories, data flows, story boards, and other development documentation.
  • Write unit tests and test plans in conjunction with a test framework.
  • Maintain application documentation to describe software components, development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
  • Collect requirements and develop software fixes for software programs.
  • Document and develop changes for new, modified, adds, or deletes of functionality within existing systems.
  • Assist with project planning and participate in designing secure systems including web applications and data processing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 60 months of hands-on experience in software development.
  • CompTIA Security+CE certification or equivalent (CISSP).
  • Active, Interim, or capable of obtaining SECRET clearance before joining.
  • Experience with Power Platform, Power Apps, Dataverse, C#, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, .NET Framework, and MS SQL.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, LDAP, DNS, Advanced PowerShell, and IIS.
  • Knowledge of source control using SCM tools like Azure DevOps and GIT.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience operating within a DoD environment.
  • Familiarity with writing unit tests and test plans using frameworks like NUnit, xUnit.net, MSTest, QUnit, Jasmine, Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber.
