About the position

The Software Programmer - Front End Developer at MS International, Inc. is a crucial role that involves working collaboratively with a team of skilled associates and managers to maintain, implement, and analyze technical systems. The work hours are set from Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM, and the compensation for this hourly, non-exempt position ranges from $32 to $35 per hour, with overtime compensated at 1.5 times the base rate. New hires can expect to earn between $69,960 and $86,925 annually, depending on their experience, overtime hours, and bonuses. In this role, the Software Programmer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the company's software applications. This includes reviewing, analyzing, and modifying software programs and systems, encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs based on established guidelines. The individual will manage multiple projects, troubleshoot applications, and provide accurate status updates on programming solutions. Additional duties may be assigned as required. Candidates for this position should have 0-3 years of direct software programming experience, with expertise in programming languages such as .Net framework (versions 2.0/3.5/4.0/4.5), C#, SQL Server 2012, MS-SQL, T-SQL, XML, JavaScript, ADO, and Web Services. Familiarity with object-oriented programming concepts and the ability to read, interpret, and implement EDI is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a creative approach to problem-solving. A Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science with an emphasis on software development is preferred, along with knowledge of common business practices, supply-chain, accounting, and inventory management.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Familiarity with common business practices, supply-chain, accounting, and/or inventory management.
