About the position
The Software Development Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and launching software solutions that support Amazon Kinesis Data Streams and other AWS services. This role involves collaborating with product managers and other engineers to refine product requirements, define architecture, and ensure high-quality service delivery in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cloud computing and committed to creating stable and performant software while participating in all aspects of the software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software solutions for Amazon Kinesis Data Streams and other AWS services.
- Collaborate with product and program managers to refine product requirements.
- Define technical architecture and lead the implementation of software.
- Participate in product definition, technical architecture review, and code reviews.
- Work on project ideas with customers, stakeholders, and peers.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and performance of software solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Nice-to-haves
