About the position

The AWS Managed Services (AMS) development team is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to enhance feature capabilities that facilitate the adoption of AWS services for enterprise customers. This role involves developing new product capabilities to deliver operational outcomes efficiently, utilizing various AWS services. The position emphasizes innovation in cloud technology and aims to contribute to the success of major global companies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve feature capabilities for AWS services.
• Deliver operational outcomes for enterprise customers using AWS services.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance product capabilities.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including coding, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
• Experience with coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
