About the position

The Software Project Engineer, Applications at TrellisWare Technologies is responsible for leading the design and development of user interfaces and networking applications for wireless communication products. This role emphasizes collaboration, technical leadership, and the creation of intuitive graphical user interfaces using modern software frameworks. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders to capture requirements, define execution strategies, and ensure a consistent user experience across applications, all while fostering team morale and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Capture user application product and verification requirements from stakeholders at all levels.
• Define delivery execution strategies and schedules, and develop risk mitigation plans.
• Lead application architecture definition and documentation to ensure a consistent user experience.
• Collaborate with UX Design to develop intuitive visualization techniques for various platforms.
• Document and present design alternatives using personal practices and corporate-defined engineering processes.
• Build relationships with team members based on trust and respect.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum of five years of industry experience developing user interface applications.
• At least three years of technical leadership experience.
• Strong technical leadership and project execution management skills.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/React, Express, Electron, Windows .NET, WPF, or mobile UI design.

Nice-to-haves

• Working knowledge of common revision control systems.
• Understanding of web-based services and IP networking.
