About the position

As a Software QA Analyst at Hydrow, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of our mobile app and connected fitness devices. Your responsibilities will include writing detailed test plans, performing regression tests, managing software releases, and proposing process improvements. You will collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure our software meets customer needs, all while working in a dynamic and interactive environment.

Responsibilities

• Write detailed test plans for software features.
• Perform regression tests on existing features.
• Manage software releases and ensure quality standards are met.
• Propose process improvements to enhance testing efficiency.
• Collaborate with iOS, Android, and API developers on testing efforts.
• Investigate and reproduce customer issues to ensure software reliability.
• Contribute to the development of test case libraries and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience with testing mobile applications and connected devices.
• Proficiency in using testing tools such as Jira and Zephyr.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to document test plans and bugs clearly and concisely.
• Experience with project management and working in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Kotlin programming language.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with command line tools and Android logcat.
