About the position

The Software QA Analyst for Oracle Fusion SCM will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications related to Supply Chain Management. This remote position involves collaborating with Scrum/project teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring that all quality objectives are met. The role requires a deep understanding of various testing types and methodologies, as well as the ability to advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Scrum/project teams to understand and support program applications and key business functionalities.
• Create end-to-end testing strategies and coordinate all testing activities to meet quality objectives.
• Execute various types of testing including UI, Service layer/Integration, End to End, performance, load, functional, and security testing.
• Write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans/strategies and test cases from various requirement sources.
• Create, maintain, and execute manual/exploratory test cases and identify automation opportunities for common test scenarios.
• Lead execution and reporting of detailed root cause analysis and issue triage to improve quality deliverables.
• Advocate for quality and drive positive changes in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Provide value-driven metrics and recommend measurable data for continuous improvement and risk analysis.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand key processes and business needs.
• Support and mentor other QA team members to enhance skills and build team morale.
• Assist in removing daily roadblocks to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.

Requirements

• Must have Oracle Fusion (Supply Chain Management/SCM) experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and standards.
• Ability to discuss multiple testing types within the test pyramid in detail.
• Proven ability to write, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience in creating and executing manual/exploratory test cases and identifying automation opportunities.
• Understanding of test data requirements for different test scenarios and types.
• Experience in leading root cause analysis and issue triage.
