About the position

The Software QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining test automation using the Cypress tool. This role involves collaboration with development and product teams to identify and resolve defects, as well as automating test scenarios to enhance the testing process. The engineer will also be tasked with maintaining automation scripts and frameworks, ensuring integration into a CI/CD pipeline for automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain test automation using Cypress tool
• Collaborate with development and product teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
• Collaborate with developers and BAs to identify and automate test scenarios
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks
• Review and maintain automated test suite and integrate these test cases into a CI/CD pipeline for automated testing

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in test automation
• 3 years of Automated test engineering experience with Cypress tool
• 3 years of experience using API testing tools
• 3 years of experience with performance testing processes and tool JMeter
• 3 years of experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitHub, etc
• 3 years of experience in designing and creating automation frameworks using Java, Kotlin, Typescript, JavaScript, Cypress, Cucumber, JMeter
• Experience in preparing Test Strategies, Test Plans, and Test Summary Reports for Functional, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, Stress and Performance and web service testing
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
