About the position

As a Software QA Engineer L4 at American Home Shield Corporation, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and automating software processes. In this position, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, integrating automated testing solutions, and applying sound software design principles to the company's infrastructure code. This will enable multiple systems to share the same CI/CD pipeline effectively. Additionally, you will set up and maintain test systems, including tools like Selenium, and work closely with source code control tools to ensure smooth operations. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while reporting to the headquarters in Memphis, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and monitor technology solutions to improve and automate software processes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to gather requirements and implement process automation.
  • Identify and eliminate defects, errors, and problems in software development.
  • Streamline redundant or inconsistent processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated testing solutions.
  • Apply software design skills to infrastructure code for shared CI/CD pipelines.
  • Set up and maintain test systems, including Selenium.
  • Work closely with source code control tools.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.
  • 2 years of related experience in software quality assurance.
  • Experience in functional testing, UI and API automation.
  • Proficiency in building a test automation framework and CI/CD pipeline.
  • Experience in performance testing and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with database management and operations.
  • Knowledge of React Native, Java, Selenium, and Protobuf.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA.
  • Experience in mobile app manual and automation testing.
