About the position

The Nexus Dashboard Insights team at Cisco is seeking a skilled software professional to operate and enhance the infrastructure and applications of their on-prem service. This role focuses on providing Intent-Based Management, Orchestration, and Data Analytics functions for Cisco's Data Center Networking portfolio, ensuring customers can securely manage their global infrastructure. The position emphasizes collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in deploying, testing, and automating new products and features.
• Champion serviceability of the products and provide actionable feedback to the engineering teams for improvements.
• Document to assist customers and internal staff in understanding product and feature usage.
• Partner with Marketing, Sales, and System Engineering teams to provide technical assistance.
• Work closely with software development and marketing teams to understand product requirements and develop a proper test and automation plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with Cisco routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, Ruby, or Go.

Nice-to-haves

• Adept at programming and scripting using Python.
• Experience in software product development with strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with microservices-based software architecture.
• Experience with Data Networking concepts and products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills.
• End-to-end networking experience.
