About the position

The Software QA Engineer for Photography & Videography Post Production at Apple is responsible for ensuring the quality of video applications on macOS and iOS. This role involves testing software, reporting bugs, and collaborating with engineering and design teams to advocate for users. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and possess strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, maintain, and execute test cases with minimal direction.
• Test software manually and with automation.
• Report bugs with effective isolation and regression techniques.
• Manage a variety of deliverables and communicate progress and risks systematically.
• Engage in ongoing dialogue with Engineering and Design teams as products evolve.
• Advocate for users by understanding their needs and experiences.

Requirements

• Mandatory photography and videography post-production experience.
• Mandatory iOS and macOS testing experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related work experience.
• At least 5 years experience as a Software QA Engineer.
• Understanding of SDLC and SQA methodologies and practices such as planning, requirements analysis, testing, and deployment.
• Inquisitive and able to investigate and debug difficult software issues.
