About the position

The Software Quality Engineer will work with the ONTAP filesystem team, focusing on ensuring high product quality through the development and execution of test plans, hands-on testing, and automation. The role involves both black and white box testing, systemic testing, and collaboration with development teams to resolve issues and maintain product excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and execute software test plans.
• Automate test cases and execute tests for scale and systemic testing.
• Provide quality analysis and maintain test automation for regression testing.
• Investigate and resolve issues in test and production environments.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements

• BS or M.S in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 4 - 8 years of experience in Test Planning, Design, and Automation of Software Product/Features.
• Practical experience in hands-on testing, automation, integration, system, scale, and regression testing of features.
• Experience with NAS/SAN protocols, RAID, and/or storage technologies is a plus.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools like CoPilot is a plus.
• Passion for learning the latest testing technologies, tools, and frameworks.
