About the position

The Software Quality Engineer will work with the ONTAP filesystem team, focusing on ensuring high product quality through the development and execution of comprehensive test plans. This role involves hands-on testing, automation, and both black and white box testing methodologies, as well as systemic testing to maintain excellent product standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and execute software test plans.
• Automate test cases and execute tests for scale and systemic testing.
• Provide quality analysis and maintain test automation for regression testing.
• Investigate and resolve issues in collaboration with development teams for test and production environments.
• Conduct hands-on testing, including integration, system, scale, and regression testing of features.

Requirements

• BS or M.S in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 4 - 8 years of experience in test planning, design, and automation of software products/features.
• Practical experience in hands-on testing and automation.
• Knowledge of NAS/SAN protocols, RAID, and/or storage technologies is a plus.
• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI tools like CoPilot is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of engineers.
