About the position

The Software QA Test Engineer Intern position at Medpace, Inc. is designed for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related fields. This full-time, office-based internship will involve working closely with the Information Technology team to support software testing initiatives that are crucial to the company's success. Interns will gain hands-on experience in writing and executing test scripts, identifying bugs, and participating in team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with writing and executing functional test scripts for web-based applications
• Identify bugs and document them in the bug-tracking software
• Attend and actively participate in Daily Status meetings
• Participate in constructive peer review of functional test scripts
• Assist with the scanning and filing of documentation as needed

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• Excellent computer skills, especially strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to learn test-related tools for software testing
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills
• Basic knowledge of writing and executing manual testing for software applications is preferred
