About the position

The Associate level Software QA Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality of applications throughout the software lifecycle, particularly in environments where requirements are frequently defined and refined in real time. This role involves collaboration with business stakeholders and developers to solidify use cases and testing releases, as well as designing testing strategies for new features and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be involved with test planning, documentation, and test case development
• Manage and maintain the test environments and automation
• Manage and execute production software deployments
• Develop and refine test processes, methodologies, and disciplines
• Build out Regression Tests and performance measurements
• Provide specialized testing, including functional performance, volume, and stress testing
• Test new functionality and bug fixes along with configuring and managing complex test environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical course of study
• 1-2 years of hands-on application software testing experience
• Experience with Python, SQL, and defect tracking systems
• Ability to understand and articulate complex business systems
• Ability to work closely with development team and business users to identify and troubleshoot issues
• Ability to work onsite 5 days/week
