About the position

The Software QA Tester position at Kforce involves developing and executing test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. The role requires both manual and automated testing, as well as collaboration with development teams to track and manage defects and present test results to management.

Responsibilities

• Develops test plans and test cases
• Develops automated tests
• Performs manual and automated tests for software functionality, installation, and usability
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
• Manages bugs and error tracking
• Documents and presents test results to management
• Coordinates and prioritizes testing of application modifications and bug fixes
• Works with multiple development teams and software projects

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of manual and automated Software QA Testing experience
• Experience working closely with development teams
• Experience testing MS Azure cloud-based software
• Experience with Cosmos DB
• Experience with a test tracking software package is preferred
