About the position

ERP International, LLC is seeking a DoD Cleared (SECRET) Software QA Tester to support our DISA customer in a multi-year IT Modernization and Transformation project. The role involves reviewing and analyzing test results for various testing activities, including integration, regression, performance, and user testing. The position is primarily hybrid, allowing for mostly telework with occasional onsite requirements at Ft. Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform Black box, functional, integration, system, and regression testing on new and existing functionality.
• Design and develop regression test cases and test scenarios.
• Manage and direct system test activities, creating test cases and requirement traceability matrix.
• Collaborate with software developers to create a test approach and test cases for web service and UI based user stories.
• Develop software tests for functional, performance, and regression testing, including automated, ad-hoc, and manual testing elements.
• Execute manual and automated tests using Microsoft Word, Excel, Katalon, and Zephyr Scale.
• Cross-reference legacy system behavior and test cases with modernized functionality to ensure user expectations are met.
• Ensure quality improvements through software validation and manage configuration and release of testing data and documentation.

Requirements

• Must have active DoD Security Clearance of Secret or higher.
• Education: BS in Computer Science or a related field, plus 4 years of related experience or 10 years of experience in Computer Science in lieu of a degree.
• At least four (4) years of experience as a QA Tester.
• Experience testing web-based applications using different browsers.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and the software development cycle.
• Knowledge of Jira and Zephyr.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze requirements and design effective test cases.
