About the position

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Software Quality Analyst to join their team of IT professionals in a permanent role. This position involves performing test planning, test case development, and test execution on Apple OS platforms and hardware. The role is crucial in ensuring the quality of software products through both manual and automated testing, as well as analyzing test failures and driving issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Perform test planning, test case development, and test execution (manual and automated) on Apple OS platforms and hardware.
• Analyze test failures and file detailed defect reports.
• Escalate and report key quality issues and drive issues to resolution.
• Provide updates and submit reports related to own area of work.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional work experience as a Software Quality Analyst or related role.
• Experience in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution.
• Analyze test results and identify defects, patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios and compile detailed reports.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience testing mobile devices, hardware, home technologies, and Bluetooth accessories.
• Curious and proactive; loves to learn and explore.
• Excellent trouble-shooting and debugging skills.
• Previous experience working with Virtual Assistants is a plus.
