About the position

The Senior Software QA Test Engineer will be responsible for testing desktop applications across multiple devices and screen sizes using Python. The role involves conducting various types of testing including functional, system, automation, and regression tests, focusing on new features for an enterprise-level application. The engineer will also support production deployment, develop test cases, and manage documentation related to testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Test desktop applications across multiple devices and screen sizes using Python.
• Conduct functional, system, automation, and regression tests for new features.
• Support production deployment and troubleshoot post-go-live issues.
• Develop logically structured test plans and clear bug reports.
• Monitor bugs and improvements using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, JIRA, and other bug-tracking tools.
• Document and author design artifacts such as functional design specifications and user personas.
• Manage traceability matrices, change requests, and user guides.
• Create Source-to-Target mapping documents for data integration.
• Utilize complex SQL queries for data transformation and mapping processes.
• Debug mobile web applications using Chrome DevTools and test backend endpoints with Postman.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
