About the position

Responsibilities

• Champion the quality of features in the development pipeline using automated and manual tests.
• Report and verify defects, and sign-off on features and release candidates.
• Author and execute test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
• Propose improvements to existing processes and automated tools to enhance speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Test multimedia components including audio, video, and DRM on FireTV devices.

Requirements

• 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Experience in automation testing.
• Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium.
• Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality.
