About the position
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer at TerraGo Tech, Inc. will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software applications and mobile apps within the Smart City solutions group. This position involves collaborating with various teams to implement a robust testing program, managing test cases, and ensuring product quality through effective testing cycles and communication.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the entire team to define and implement a robust test program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality product releases to customers.
- Work closely with the Director of Product Development to plan testing cycles within each product release, coordinating the identification and testing of software issues.
- Design, develop, implement, and manage the execution of test cases, procedures, and suites.
- Ensure traceability of tests to product requirements/design.
- Own the test environment, ensuring its readiness before and during test execution.
- Monitor, measure, control, and report on test progress, product quality status, and test results.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing software test cases.
- Strong collaboration skills, working closely with software development teams.
- Ability to manage, task, and track test execution effectively.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, and maturity in the workplace.
- Willingness to enhance oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities.
