Software Quality Assurance Tester

About the position

The Software QA Analyst performs advanced and/or supervisory computer systems analysis and team lead work, administering the daily operations and activities of testing teams within the QA division of IT (Information Technology). Work involves planning, budgeting, and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing systems. This position will work with the project development teams to provide Software Testing Services.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases
• Create and execute manual and automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail
• Perform manual testing and data validation
• Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
• Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
• Execute performance and accessibility testing

Requirements

• 7 years of experience in testing complex Web Applications (Required)
• 7 years of experience in testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (Required)
• 3 years of experience in Database/SQL Language (Required)
• 3 years of experience in creating Automation test cases (Required)
• 2 years of experience in API, JSON, XML (Required)
• 5 years of test automation experience using open source technologies and/or in-house frameworks (Preferred)
• 5 years of experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, BDD (Preferred)
• 2 years of experience in API testing (SOAP and REST) (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience testing .NET applications (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience working with Power BI (Preferred)
• 1 year of previous experience with Zephyr Scale (Preferred)
• 1 year of previous experience with JIRA (Preferred)
