About the position

As a Software/React Developer at Application Objects Inc, you will be responsible for designing and developing web and enterprise applications using a variety of technologies including React, Redux, AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, Ajax, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Stylus, and ES6. This role requires a strong understanding of the software development life cycle, particularly in Agile methodologies, and the ability to translate functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create prototypes and wireframes, ensuring that the final product meets the needs of the users and stakeholders. In this position, you will engage in project life cycle activities, contributing to both development and maintenance projects. Your expertise in RESTful APIs will be crucial as you integrate services using Ajax and JavaScript. Additionally, you will participate in design and architecture reviews, providing insights and recommendations based on your experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web technologies and a passion for creating high-quality software solutions that enhance user experience. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week, from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. Responsibilities

• Design and develop web and enterprise applications using React and related technologies.
• Participate in project life cycle activities for development and maintenance projects.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into system requirements.
• Create prototypes and wireframes to visualize application features.
• Integrate services via Ajax using JavaScript, jQuery, and Node.js.
• Conduct design and architecture reviews to ensure best practices are followed.

Requirements

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in a related field from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 3+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• 3+ years of experience in React JS, Node JS, Redux, jQuery, and advanced JavaScript.
• 3+ years of experience in software development life cycle using Agile methodology.
• 3+ years of experience in project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• 3+ years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
• 1+ years of experience in design and architecture review.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs.
