About the position

The Software Solutions Architect role is a remote position focused on translating business requirements into technical designs and implementations. The architect will work closely with clients, account managers, product owners, and development teams to ensure successful project execution and ongoing technical support. This position requires a strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), agile methodologies, and various technical stacks, particularly within the .NET ecosystem and Azure services.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients, account managers, product owners, and analysts to understand business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, guides, and implementations.
• Document technical designs and data exchange standards for development teams.
• Guide technical leaders towards successful implementation by communicating with development teams.
• Design database schemas in collaboration with DBAs to meet performance and reporting needs.
• Attend release CAB meetings to discuss changes for release.
• Participate in client and product request intake meetings to estimate new projects and requirements.
• Perform debugging, testing, code improvement, and redesign tasks.
• Work with customer service and quality analysis teams to optimize products.
• Provide ongoing technical support to customers.
• Contribute to ASP.NET Core services through code commits and reviews.
• Research and improve service performance issues through debugging and database query fixes.

Requirements

• Experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, and ASP.NET Core tech stacks.
• Experience with Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Event Grids, Service Buses, and Blob Storages.
• Experience with data persistence technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or Redis.
• High level understanding of data exchange protocols such as HTTP and SFTP.
• Experience with git or other version control tools.
• Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper, or other ORMs.
