About the position

The Software Test Analyst position is a six-month contract role focused on ensuring the quality and functionality of software through rigorous testing processes. The analyst will collaborate with design teams to understand testing requirements, develop and execute test cases, and track defects to ensure software meets specified standards. This role requires participation in various meetings and documentation processes to maintain traceability and quality assurance throughout the testing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Attend requirements and design workshops to understand testing needs from Design
• Assist with development of Test Cases
• Assist with the execution of Test Cases
• Assist with logging and tracking of defects including suggesting initial fixes
• Retest addressed defects previously raised and document the outcome of the retest
• Ensure traceability is maintained
• Participate in review of Test Cases
• Attend Triage meetings as required

Requirements

• Intermediate level experience in software testing
• Ability to develop and execute test cases
• Experience in logging and tracking defects
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with design teams
