About the position

Responsibilities

• Review Software Requirements to ensure clarity and testability.
• Write clear and concise Test Objectives to guide the testing process.
• Design innovative and effective Test Cases, both manual and automated.
• Execute Test Cases in the on-site lab environment for new and modified software.
• Analyze test results against specified requirements and document discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other test engineers and developers for seamless software integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Experience in Validation, Verification, Requirements Analysis, and/or Testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, integration, regression, performance, etc.).
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Experience with DOORS or other requirements traceability tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail for identifying software performance anomalies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
