About The Position

Hexaware is seeking a Software Tester II to work in Iselin, NJ, and various unanticipated locations throughout the US. The role involves collaborating with clients to analyze business requirements, defining and implementing test plans, and executing various types of system testing to ensure product quality. The Software Tester II will also investigate and document issues, report quality concerns, and recommend changes to improve software usability and functionality.

Requirements

• Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field, plus two years of IT experience.
• Two years of experience with any one of the following skill sets: Selenium Web Driver, Cucumber, & Maven; Apache Maven, Java, & Selenium; Selenium Web Driver, Jenkins, & Maven; Appium, SQL Server & JIRA; or Charles River Development, JIRA, & UAT.
• In lieu of a Master's Degree and two years of IT experience, a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in a related field plus five years of progressive post-bachelor's IT experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Confer with clients to study, analyze, and evaluate business requirements.
• Define and implement test plans and schedules.
• Design, develop, and execute test scenarios and test cases for system testing.
• Investigate and document issues and report potential quality issues.
• Design, develop, or recommend software for testing, bug tracking, or automation.
• Modify existing software to correct errors.
• Report results and recommend changes to developers on software usability and functionality.
• Analyze data to identify trends or relationships in results.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
