About the position

The Software Tester/Quality Assurance role is focused on ensuring the quality and security of software builds for Government Owned Software (SW) within the National Capital Region. This position involves managing software releases across classified and unclassified networks, responding to user feedback, and supporting software integration into classified environments. The role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools, as well as experience in a classified environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform monodirectional data transfers of all software releases from lower classified networks to higher classified networks.
• Maintain a copy of all software releases within existing repositories on classified networks.
• Receive bug reports, feature requests, and user feedback over classified networks, and manage those requests as tickets.
• Maintain an installed instance of the latest software release on an NSANet connected computer with attached Software Defined Radio (SDR) hardware.
• Support the integration of DSP software into target program hardware and OS environments classified up to TS/SCI.

Requirements

• High School Degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Certifications: Security+ CE and SSCP.
• Experience with C, C#, C++, SQL, or Java.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and GIT.
• Familiarity with deploying software at the TS/SCI level to NSA Network (NSANet).
• Familiar with NSANet approved tools for system configuration and management (e.g., SIMP, Puppet, Ansible, and CS2 Scripts).
• Experience with third-party Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) software (e.g., Salvage and WSTL).
• Possess a Secret Clearance.
