About the position

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Software Tester with iOS Experience to join their Quality Engineering and Assurance (QEA) Practice in Seattle, WA. This role involves testing software applications on iOS platforms, ensuring quality through test planning, execution, and defect analysis. The ideal candidate will contribute to the transformation journey of quality engineering for a diverse range of clients, leveraging their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform test planning, test case development, and test execution (manual and automated)
• Testing on iOS platforms and hardware
• Analyzing test failures and filing detailed defect reports
• Escalate and report key quality issues and drive issues to resolution
• Provide updates and submit reports related to own area of work

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 1+ years of professional work experience as a Software Quality Analyst or related
• Experience in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution
• Analyze test results and identify defects, patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios and compile detailed reports
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English

Nice-to-haves

• Experience testing mobile devices, hardware, home technologies, and Bluetooth accessories
• Previous experience working with Virtual Assistants
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
