About the position

Cognizant Technology Solutions is seeking a Software Tester with IOS experience to join their Quality Assurance Practice. This role involves testing on IOS platforms and hardware, contributing to the quality engineering transformation journey for clients. The position is permanent and offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on quality assurance and testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform test planning, test case development, and test execution (manual and automated)
• Testing on IOS platforms and hardware
• Analyzing test failures and filing detailed defect reports
• Escalate and report key quality issues and drive issues to resolution
• Provide updates and submit reports related to own area of work

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 1+ years of professional work experience as a Software Tester with IOS experience
• Experience in test planning, test design, test authoring, and execution
• Analyze test results and identify defects, patterns of issues, troubleshoot scenarios and compile detailed reports
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills in English

Nice-to-haves

• Experience testing mobile devices, hardware, home technologies, and Bluetooth accessories
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Previous experience working with Virtual Assistants is a plus
