About the position

Axient is seeking a Software Tester to support the 96th Test Wing located at Eglin AFB, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for translating user requirements into software test cases, participating in team meetings and test reviews, troubleshooting and reporting software bugs, and writing formal software documentation. You will also follow CMMI (Level 3) processes for software testing and verify and validate web applications and application programming interfaces (APIs).

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into software test cases.

• Follow CMMI (Level 3) processes for software testing.
• Verify and validate web applications and application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Analyze complex software requirements and translate them into quality test cases, either manual or automated.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience; 5 years of software testing experience highly desired.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience supporting DoD desired.
• Proficient in SQL Server 2019, Stored Procedures, and Table Design for testing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Selenium or other automation test tools desired.
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)/Azure DevOps desired.
